Some people say you shouldn’t mess with a classic. But if you do it with the Ray-Ban know how, you’re in. First made in 1938 (can you believe?) the Outdoorsman has maintained its signature suave style and unrivalled shape excellence.

So how do Ray-Ban step up the game? With a genuine leather brow bar! Back in the day pilots wore these sunglasses whilst flying and now they have become a Ray-Ban icon. I defy anyone to not think these are immensely cool. Finishing off the stems with leather ear socks

The perfectly curved world renowned teardrop lenses are encased in shimmering gold metal frames, delicately curved round the outer and top brow bar. Sporting the letter ‘p’ means that the lenses are polarised, filtering out harmful glare which can cause you to squint and put pressure on your eye muscles. Polarised lenses are an absolute must in bright sunshine and if you have the option, I would always opt for polarised because they really do feel so much different on your eyes and beneficial to your sight.

The beauty of the aviator is that you can wear them daily. They go with dress up and dress down occasions because they just have style and know how to make and outfit. I’ve personally owned about 5 pairs of Ray-Ban aviators over the years, including a classic Outdoorsman and thought it was time to up my collection with my new pair.
