The ID2 is an award winning goggle and one of the cleanest designs ever seen in the goggle market. Of course it perfectly blends this amazing design with function too. adidas’s Light Stabilising Technology Active Light creates a brightening effect through the lenses, and the red tint has a vitalising psychological effect. It’s great for overcast conditions. The anti-fog Vision Advantage lens protects you from harmful UV. There’s also a hard coating and a silver mirror finish. The Quick-Change Lens System means you can quickly adapt your goggles for the mountains’ ever changing light conditions too. The fully padded face is Nano-Foam, which stops moisture and is fully breathable and uses ClimaCool, a dynamic ventilation system that through angled vents prevents fogging without obstructing eyesight. 2-frame levelling gives you the perfect fit, and the adjustable strap is siliconized for durability and comfort. Also, in adidas’s own words, there is a ‘detachable front part’. It’s very technical.
