Carve eyewear was established in 2000 and started selling eyewear into the Australian and Indonesian surf market. In 2001 Carve started selling eyewear to the snow market and sponsored Perisher, Thredbo and Falls Creek snow reports. This has seen the brands popularity rocket and is now favoured by not only boarders, but by the fashion conscious too!
Since 2000, Carve eyewear has been committed to the surfing and snowboarding culture and is successfully taking this message around the world. Carve is a surf lifestyle brand, founded by surfers in Sydney and now being worn all around the world.
The carve logo represents a carving turn wither on a wave or in the snow. Their history and heritage comes from the beach and mountains and the life of being a surfer and snowboarder and you’ll see this reflected in their designs although the current fashion trends also heavily influences the brands styling.
Carve’s goal is to continue to stay focused on surf and snowboarding products but their sunglasses are surprisingly trendy and some even mimic the high end, oversized look that is adored by every celebrity there is!
Carve use a stunning selection of neutral tones for their entire eyewear collection, in keeping their colour palette subtle, they have been able to be more playful with their designs and create some bold frames that are toned down by the neutral shading.
Carve are very proud of their heritage and has always sponsored surfers and snowboarders since the beginning and in 2008 sponsored Trent Munro who’s also the Carve team ambassador. The brands continued exposure throughout 2009 has seen Carves popularity sore and are now retailing in over 450 stores worldwide.
