Jessica Biel took time out from promoting The A-Team to attend the Radio 1 studios in London yesterday, where she looked her absolute best in a printed silk dress paired with a Chanel shoulder bag and Oakley Holbrook sunglasses.
Her sunglasses form the Oakley Lifestyle collection designed for the style conscious consumer. Also amongst the bestsellers of the popular Lifestyle range are the Fuel Cell, Jupiter and Fives Squared.
The Holbrook is created in collaboration with snowboarding champion Shaun White, who has been part of the Oakley team for more than a decade.
Shaun made history with a double-flip 3½-spin trick at the 2010 Olympics in February that no other athlete has so far achieved. When he is not flying above half pipe walls, he is bringing his own unique style to the streets in the form of Oakley.
With his brother Jesse as his creative director, Shaun worked closely alongside Oakleyto create his vision of classic American cool.
The name Holbrook comes from the name of a small town situated along the historic Route 66, Arizona that sits on the outskirts of the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest. This classic western land epitomises the spirit of exploration and adventure found in those travelling along Highway 66 in the 50s and 60s, out of which the Wayfarer was born. It is the perfect nickname for a salute to retro sunglass design, which in this instance takes style to a whole new place.
Holbrook is made of a lightweight synthetic called O Matter that is highly durable and stress resistant. The front and side of the frame is decorated with metal pin detailing and stretched Oakley icons reinforcing authenticity.
