Jessica's country singing career isn't going the way she and record bosses had of hoped.

Last month Jessica held a concert at 44th Street opposite the Good Morning America studios which was a complete disaster, a witness said;

'I work across the street from GMA. Jessica Simpson gave a concert on 44th Street this morning, and there had to be less than 50 people there. It was pretty embarrassing. The whole street was closed off for such a small, dismal crowd. If there are any pictures of her performing on the wire, I'm sure they wont' show the crowd.'

Another witness added that she stopped her performance of 'With You' because she couldn't hear herself;

'It was a disaster'.

In other Simpson news, Ashlee's baby is due this November and it's been revealed that she sleeps with teddy bears sent to her by fans in the bed she shares with husband Pete Wentz!
