It was only last year that square sunglasses were considered *square*, but the boxy frames are suddenly the look of the summer. Why square? Why now? The hot look of 2008/2009 was defined by the plastic wayfarer, neon coloured trapezoids often worn with matching t-shirts, nail polish and trainers. This summer, or at least the final weeks of it, square sunnies are in, with the likes of Kate Beckinsale, Halle Berry, Eva Longoria and Kate Moss all thinking inside the box.

Dolce and Gabbana 4035 sunglasses are seemingly everywhere all at once and given that there is no obvious source for the revival, and it usually takes eyewear trends several months or more to develop, why are we all suddenly being drawn to Dolce and Gabbana 4035? Could it be the handcrafted angulated acetate architecture, the chromatic brown lenses, or perhaps the consecutive stems adorned with gilded initials? But one thing is certain, Dolce and Gabbana 4035 is part of a sophisticated genteel family of products offered by world renowned designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana; masters of Italian style. Our featured frames also come complete with an authentic presentation box, complete with a stitched black satin case decorated with a diamante DG clasp.

Kate Beckinsale says she was petrified of drinking alcohol whilst making her latest film, Whiteout.

She was warned that sipping on a glass of a wine during the evening could seriously damage her health due to the sub zero temperatures whilst filming in Antarctica.

'I never really drink but even if I did we were all told it wasn't a good idea in such cold conditions. the British Born actress told a newspaper.

'They say that you're more prone to get frostbite or hypothermia or sudden adult death syndrome after drinking so we all thought it best to give it a miss.'

Kate Beckinsale plays the role of US Marshal Carrie Stetko in thefilm, a fearless woman who follows a killer to Antarctica just as sunlight is about to disappear for six months.

The 36 year old didn't expect the Arctic to be as cold as it was, and thought that people were making too much fuss about the freezing temperatures.

'The cold? Oh yeah. They said it's going be really cold and I thought, 'Well, I've worked in Prague and I've worked in Budapest.' I'm always wearing fewer clothes than everybody else in the movie so I felt I'd handle it.

'It was just a different level of cold. I think it was minus 58 Fahrenheit when we were there, where you just can't believe it.'
