This time last year, some of our fav celebs – Cheryl Cole, Simon Cowell and Nicky Hilton – were seen sporting silver mirrored aviators. But this year, thanks to the likes of Natalie and Jennifer Aniston, the colour combo in which to be seen is more retro – shiny gold and blue.

We spotted mirror flash versions of the gold-and-blue trend from Carrera, Ray-Ban and Police, this summer. But we think you’ll find this Tom Ford style slightly more sophisticated and slick too. It might form part of the 2012 Tom Ford summer collection, but Natalie has been getting maximum wear out of them. And who can blame her? Not us.
