A Stylish Chanel Tale We at Sunglasses Shop have been waiting with baited breath for the release of Chanel: The Tale of a Fairy, a short film about the ill-advised use of money, and it does not disappoint. This latest cinematic adventure from Chanel is created and directed by Karl Lagerfeld and stars some of his finest muses. Kristen McMenamy takes centre stage as an erratic fashionista sporting Tom Ford sunglasses throughout, including the superb Tom Ford Sheila. Then there is the equally gorgeous Amanda Harlech who also wears Tom Ford for the duration of the film. Oh, and least we forget, male model extraordinaire Baptiste Giabiconi as the godson of Miss McMenamy. There is also the half naked fairy which is played by none other than Freja Beha. 'It is a movie about an ill-advised use of money which begins with violence and ends with feeling,' Karl explains to Vogue. 'Some people may be shocked.' The only shocking thing is the notable absence of the Chanel sunglass collection. Though we adore Tom Ford here at Sunglasses Shop, we would have loved to of seen some Chanel frames such as the Chanel 5205 or Chanel 5206 and especially Chanel 5203 - one of our favourite frames this season. Not only does this cool cat-eyed frame combine fashion and function but highlights the main purpose of sunglasses by incorporating glitter into each lens for a gorgeous sheen. Purrrrfect. The Tale of a Fairy can be viewed online from May 10 when the full film airs. Also, be sure to watch out for Anna Mouglalis, Bianca Balti, Brad Koening, Jake Davies, Mark Vanderloo, Oriol Elcacho, Sébastien Jondeau and Seth Kuhlmann, among other friends of the House.
