Iridium lenses run in Oakley's sunglasses as well as their Goggles. When it comes to Oakley each feature you add to a lens will increase the price of the product. The iridium coating looks like a mirrored lens and as it is such a dark finish is great for cutting down on strong light. Many top end goggles have an Iridium finish to them and the conditions, especially if it is sunny can be extremely bright. On the other hand polarised lenses are developed for removing glare. They can produce some spectacular results in bright conditions. I have heard that in a polarised lens with the glare being removed you may also struggle to see ice. Not having tested I can not let you know if this is the case, but I know customers who have worn polarised lenses and reported back on them absolutely loving them. I would recommend the A Frame polarised. |
