Electric EG2.5 Goggles

Electric's EG2.5 goggle is a scaled-down version of the EG2 for piste conquerors with smaller faces. The EG2.5 is loaded with exactly the same technology Electric has injected into the flagship EG2 model, compromising none of the quality.

One of the reasons for Electric's stellar reputation is the hugely oversized spherical lens that features in the EG2.5. This durable polycarbonate lens gives you increased peripheral vision and impact protection.

Glare is a perennial foe all snowboarders and skiers must fight, so the Electric EG2.5 offers two glare-busting solutions. The first solution to this problem is the Super A/R Anti-Reflective Technology. This technology improves clarity of vision by absorbing light and reflecting glare, and is exclusive to the EG2 and EG2.5 goggles

The second weapon the EG2.5 has in the fight against glare is the Eye Black Treatment, which is a barely noticeable black paint on the inside of the lens that further absorbs any excess light.

Being too cold to function is guaranteed to ruin your on-piste experience, so the EG2.5 has a dual lens construction to keep you face warm in the chilliest mountain winds. This climate control is made possible by the so-called "dead space" between the lenses, acting like double-glazing to create a thermal barrier.

Effective ventilation is vital in the fight against fog, so Electric has armed the EG2.5 with vents, vent foam and superb Inner Lens Breathability technology. This handy feature regulates the climate of the goggle to respond to the air pressure at altitude, meaning you have optimum vision from the top of the piste to the bottom.

Fog is further prevented by Electric's hydrophobic Super Anti-Fog coating, which stops fog from forming on the outer lens. Anti-Scratch hard coating also features on the outer lens of the EG2.5 to reduce scratching.

Electric has also ensured maximum comfortability and a perfect fit with contoured triple-layer face foam, a helmet compatible frame design and a 40 mm strap adjuster. All of this ground-breaking technology is compactly housed in a flexible Mould injected Thermo-Plastic Urethane frame that's ready to take on any mountain, anywhere.
