Games Keep Growing
The X-Games is growing fast. Very, very fast. The 2012 Games get under way later this month, and there's some extra good news for fans. They'll get to see double Grammy Award winners Linkin Park tear it up live. And if that wasn't cool enough, the nu-metal stars will also treat fans to a few tracks from their new album "Living Things".
Lead man Chester Bennington, who regularly dons Arnette sunglasses, will take to the stage on 29th June. He'll also be joined by the familiar lineup of Mike Shinoda, Joe Hahn, Dave Farrell, Brad Delson and Rob Bourdon. The private show will take place at Club Nokia at LA Live. If you're among the lucky ones there, you'll witness a ground-breaking new dawn for the Games.

Linkin Park's performance signals the X-Games' first move towards regular live music at the event. It isn't just Linkin Park on this year's bill either. Electro funk act Ghostland Observatory will also pull the curtain down on the Games on 1st July. This is very much the beginning of something new, with the 2013 X-Games set to feature even more live acts. And there was us thinking the X-Games couldn't get any better...
