The Row Twins Triumph

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen triumphed at the 2012 Council of Fashion Designers of America awards, last night. They scooped the highly coveted Womenswear Designer of the Year prize, beating off stiff competition from Marc Jacobs. The designer duo collected the prize for their label The Row for which they design clothing, sunglasses and other accessories.

Wearing her own gorgeous designs, Mary-Kate turned to her twin sister as she accepted the award and said, ‘I'd like to thank you — you.’

Johnny Depp also got a nod for his style and was awarded Fashion Icon. Collecting the honour on his behalf, John Waters explained ‘This man can't look ugly no matter how hard he tries.’ We at Sunglasses Shop couldn’t agree more.
