Doctorate for Stella and Lulu

Stella McCartney and Lulu Guinness are to receive honorary doctorates from the University of the Arts London Vogue reports today. Another Sunglasses Shop favourite, illustrator David Downton has also been awarded for his contribution to fashion.

Guinness and Downton will receive their Honorary Fellowships at the London College of Fashion on 17th July. Stella McCartney will be presented her award on the following day at Central Saint Martins of which she is one of it’s many fashion luminaries.

Stella McCartney's sunglasses are as coveted as the designer's trendy clothes. This season, McCartney follows in the footsteps of Italian fashion giant Prada in her ready to wear collection and lets the sunglasses become a real part of the look. Stella's pyjama prints have been a hit on the red carpet and off and the sunglasses that bear the pattern too have received much attention.
