Wounded Warrior Project Donate 5000 Sunglasses
As it nears the end of the year, thoughts turn to those who are less fortunate. Which might be part of the reason behind why the Wounded Warrior Project donated 5000 pairs of sunglasses to injured and struggling veterans.

The Wounded Warrior Project was founded in 2001 with the aim of rehabilitating returning servicemen by providing services that help them fit back into society as easily as possible. It has since grown into an essential charity that provides irreplacable support for thousands of less fortunate people. And their latest donation of sunglasses goes some way to help struggling ex-soldiers.
Sunglasses and the military have had a long relationship. Aside from pretty much every modern combat film being set in an unforgiving desert where sunglasses are essential, Oakley also produce a range of eyewear that is designed to cope with the intense conditions in the theatre of conflict and has saved the vision of many soldiers caught up in explosions.
These kinds of efforts from the Wounded Warrior Project and Oakley go a little way to help current and ex-soldiers out.
