Vonn's Double Title

Lindsey Vonn has been a regular in the Oakley news. The American ski legend has had a barnstorming season, building an impressive lead in the FIS Ski World Cup. Finally, she had the chance to win two titles in one clean sweep came in Sochi, Russia.

In what was the first test of the run set to host the 2014 Winter Olympics, Oakley star Vonn didn't quite reach her best in the Downhill. She finished third behind German title rival Maria Hoefl-Reisch and second-placed Elizabeth Goergl. However, the bronze still proved enough for Vonn to win yet another FIS Ski World Cup women's Downhill title.

She was also set to face another battle on Sunday as she aimed to win the Super-Combined title. However, the FIS was forced to cancel the event due to bad weather and award the title straight to Lindsey Vonn as she was ahead in the standings.

This saw her confirm an impressive "double" and seal yet another memorable season. It's just a shame we didn't get to see her don those trademark Oakley Goggles and hit the hill in the Super-Combined event.
