Oakley Half X

The Half X is made from an ultra-lightweight titanium alloy that was formed using 425,000 watts of plasma lighting. These lightweight, all-metal framed sunglasses stay in place with a Three-Point Fit that takes advantage of supple unobtainium components, specially formulated to increase grip with perspiration. Custom-engineered spring hinges add even more comfort.

The lenses are optimised by the use of Oakley’s hydrophobic coating, a permanent shield against water sheens and a smudge resistant barrier against skin oils and lotions. By using a hydrophobic coating, the lenses have the unbeatable clarity of high definition optics so your vision stays razor sharp with lens curvature that maximise peripheral view. The lenses also boast industrial level impact resistance and 100 percent UV filtering as they are made from pure plutonite with optional iridium lens coating that reduce glare and balance light transmissions.

For the ultimate in performance, the Half X has optional polarisation. Glare isn’t just an annoyance it can hinder a performance so Oakley polarised lenses are engineered to block those blinding rays. Oakley make polarised lenses with a liquid infusion process that bonds the lens material to the polarising filter at the molecular level, eliminating the haze and distortion that comes with ordinary polarised lenses. That’s how they achieve polarisation efficiency greater than 99percent with the best possible clarity and optical precision.
