Oakley Holbrook

When I think of Oakley sunglasses I think of sporty looking frames. Oakley Holbrook however is more fitting with today’s trends. The shape is similar to that of a wayfarer and the keyhole bridge adds a distinctive feature. Small pins on the front remind me of sunglasses from days gone by and a large O initial on the arms lets everyone around me know I’m wearing the best sunglass brand around. This model was created with the help of snowboarding superstar Shaun White. If it’s good enough for him then it’s definitely good enough for me and you.

This model is crafted from O Matter. It’s lightweight and keeps me comfy all day long. It’s very durable too meaning it’s less likely to break. The lenses are made from Plutonite and are also light. They provide me with crystal clear vision as well and block 100 percent of UV rays. They can also be purchased with polarised lenses. My ones are polarised and I must say they are well worth the extra amount of money. I wear mine when I’m driving because they block out that extremely bright annoying light. I’d definitely recommend all drivers to get a pair with polarised lenses.

Oakley Holbrook comes in a small handful of tones. I personally went for the polished black frame because they come with equipped with polarised lenses, but you can also get them in polished white, matte rootbeer and matte black. I’m sure the polished white frame will be a firm favourite with the females because the iridium violet lens is feminine and striking. It also tunes contrast and reduces glare. The matte black frame has a warm grey lens tint which is useful for very bright light conditions.

I normally wear these shades for purely fashionable purposes on a day-to-day basis but on the odd occasion I go for a jog they work just as well because they are incredibly light in weight, so it feels as if I don’t even have any shades on.

Not all Oakley frames are expensive you know. This model shines through with its fantastic price tag and is what attracted me to them even more.
