So what's the story with NANOWIRES? They’re bold, masculine AND ultra lightweight and delicate!? Pretty much!

I like these glasses, they don’t mess around and they're not pretentious. They aren't Oakley's usual big bold and in your face design, in fact, they're quite the opposite. But they do promise to deliver in terms of cutting edge technology for design and comfort. Oozing with sex appeal and sophistication, these sunglasses have got me written all over them!

Not to be outdone, Oakley use the same material to make the NANOWIRE that is used in lunar orbit vehicles! (that’s rockets and satellites to you and me…pretty sweet huh?!)

Gravity? Oakley laugh in the face of gravity! Ok Ok, so they won’t take you into space, but if you were going, you wouldn’t want to be without your Oakley's to total up your look!

NANOWIRE'S : FEATURES

Common features through the range include Hydrophobic technology, ultra-lightweight titanium alloy frames and 3 point fit ensuring maximum comfort.

Not that I’d really take my Nanowire's out in the rain, but in case you get caught short, the weather won't marr your immaculate image! The Hydrophobic technology is a special coating on the lens which prevents smearing or droplets from streaking. Not only this, but the anti-static technology prevents dirt and dust sticking to these little beauties!

Unique Nanowire frame technology provides a flexy comfortable fit which bends to adapt to your face. NANOWIRE 2.0

Lets take the 2.0. First born, its only fair. These are actually my favourites of the range. I like their pure rawness and simplicity (in appearance) yet hidden genius in design.

Day to day? They're a godsend. Wear these and you're literally weightless. Don these if you need to fly. Aside from the logistics, this NANOWIRE looks sharp, metallic and cool on the finish, thin but clear cut square lines, what a win.

POLARIZED NANOWIRE 3.0

NANOWIRE meets visor to give to you the 3.0. Now I know I said the 2.0 were my favourites, but when you embrace the NANOWIRE like I have, I struggle to say a bad word about them! Technological innovation meets cutting edge trend and fashion. This time the NANOWIRE adopts an a-single continuous lens, which sweeps across your face like something out of the Matrix. Unlike the 2.0 before it, but with the same weightless feel, the 3.0 adopts a rimless design to ensure that although the lens is larger, its not finished off by harsh lines. The smooth curvatures do themselves justice with this advanced design which appears years before its time.

A revolution in vision.

POLARIZED NANOWIRE 4.0

Great for those of you with a smaller face, the NANOWIRE 4.0 stand a proud new addition to the well established NANOWIRE family.

Ever improving, the back of this lens has an anti-reflective coating, not present on the NANOWIRES of the past. Not to mention the haze and optical distortion elimination usually found in polarized lenses.

Despite providing unbeatable protection from rays, its not like the lenses are so harsh you have to remove them from duller to lighter environments. Quite the opposite, I found you can keep these badboys on all day and switch from sheltered to outdoor!

I’d say it’s the 4.0 that would be the best for strenuous sporting activities. The UNOBOTANIUM ear socks ensure outstanding grip and curved lens ensures that shielded vision from whatever the elements may throw at you. Not only this, the Hydrophobic technology ensure the sunglasses stay put even if you work up a sweat.
