Ray-Ban Wayfarer II, our Sunglasses of the Month, isn't the only Ray-Ban model to have had a New Year make-over. Ray-Ban CATS models have also been stylised with a fresh new batch of colour!

CATS 1000 is a bold sampling of everything that makes Ray-Ban design timeless and original. The shape is slightly similar to the popular wayfarer style, but the unique cat-eye lens shape separates CATS 1000 from other styles in Ray-Ban's collections. Sexy, sassy flicks emphasise character and style, while Ray-Ban signatures represents brand's bold heritage. Leona Lewis, Drew Barrymore and Hailie Duff are among their many fans. In addition to shocking neon, CATS 1000 is now available in pretty crystal pinks for good ol' girly-girls and fashionistas.

CATS 5000 is the iconic aviator reborn in propionate plastic. This style flatters both men and women and features elongated temples that showcase Ray-Ban signature logos. Britney Spears and Michelle Tractenberg wear CATS 1000 in light havana. But if you don't fancy being ordinary colour your world and stand out in fun fashion colours, which now includes orange havana. Other brand spanking new colours like black/red or blue/white will add instant zest to your look, but why do things by halves? CATS 5000 sunglasses in white and violet go all out with technicolor mirrored lenses for bold statement.

While some styles have been re-designed others have been re-shaped and re-modelled. Take Ray-Ban 3428 for example, a retro-style aviator full of old fashioned charm. This interesting take on the original aviator sunglasses picks up where Ray-Ban Outdoorsman II left off in that in addition to an enhanced brow bar, an enhanced frame creates a more intense focus on the shape but retains the same iconic look. Ray-Ban 3428 sunglasses features monel construction and crystal lenses in an assortment of classic and non classical colours. A polarised lens option is also available. However, there's also the exception of entirely brand new models, original models like Ray-Ban 4147, also new for 2010.
