Ray-Ban Sunglasses Polarised Collection

Ray-Ban Polarised Sunglasses Collection

What could be better than getting your favourite Ray-Ban frame? Getting it with a glare beating polarised lens.

Ray-Ban polarised lenses, are a legend within a legend, are the product of technology and exclusive manufacturing processes that block glare and reflection. Polarised Ray-Bans do not shy away from comparison and so you can look the world squarely in the eyes.

What you get is a drastic reduction in the brightness of shiny surfaces, like cars and large bodies of water. So whether you’re staring at a freshly waxed muscle car on the road or some bodies at the beach, glare will be a thing of the past with Ray-Ban polarised.

Even with polarisation, there are lenses and then there are lenses. Ray-Ban polarised lenses bearing the unmistakable “P” are exceptionally effective. These lenses, in glass or plastic, block 99.9% of polarised waves.

With superior scratch resistance and high rigidity your view will be legendary. There’s an anti-reflective coating too.

Ray-Ban polarised lenses, available in P, P3 and P3 PLUS versions, make special treatments available in addition to polarisation: ultraviolet protective filter, anti-reflective coating, hydro-oleophobic protective coating and colour enhancement.

UV Filter

Ray-Ban polarised lenses have a filter that protects from ultraviolet radiation. In order to eliminate most of the dangerous blue light, Ray-Ban protection reaches 400 nm, or the visible field.

Anti-Reflective Coating

The Ray-Ban Anti-Reflective filter gets rid of the reflection that comes from the side or from behind the lenses and is on all polarised Ray-Ban lenses. You'll get superior protection by dramatically reducing the light’s reflection on the inside surface of the lens. Brilliant when the sun is shining from the side or from behind the lenses.

Hydro-Oleophobic Coating

Simply put this is a special film that covers the outside of the entire polarised lens. It protects the lens from water and oily substances, which just roll off, and is great for people in water sports and outdoor activities.

Enhanced Colours

The Ray-Ban Neophan lens, developed during World War II for Luftwaffe fighter pilots, improves colour perception and contrast in whatever you see. A chemical element neodymium is added which can filter sunlight selectively bringing out several colours in the iris, for better definition of colours and therefore heightened contrast.

Polarised lenses are easy to see. Look for a 'P' next to the 'Ray-Ban' etching on the lens.
