Excited? Well you should be, because Ray-Ban have put their creative heads together and come up with a whole new aviator design, the perfect start to 2010! These sunglasses feature the original tear-drop shape lenses that were incorporated onto the classic 3025 aviator model, created by Ray-Ban in 1937. Although the lenses are slightly smaller than the original design, they exude a whole new fresh image and you certainly won’t blend into the background. The lenses are conjoined by a double bridge, one of which runs along the top of the sunglass and subtly dips inwards. The arms are thicker than the 3025 model, making them different and adding a dab of boldness to the frame, they are decorated with a Ray-Ban motif on either side, which is also delicately etched onto the right lens.

The front of the frame is hand-crafted from thin wire metal, while the arms have been designed in acetate, both of which are extremely light in weight for a luxurious fit. Adjustable nose pads sit comfortably on your nose, allowing you to adjust them as you wish to the shape of your face.

The Ray-Ban 3386 is a refined Aviator that is a fantastic choice for everyday wear. It’s somewhat more laid back compared to the other aviators that Ray-Ban have within their range as the lenses are wider and less defined in shape. The frames maintain the slim line feel but the arm detailing is slightly more noticeable. The arms on the 3386 are much bolder compared to the other aviators, thus making more of an impact. The Ray-Ban logo is more prominent at either temple due to the arm size and as ever, the logo is present on a single lens. So there’s no hiding the fact you are wearing the most à la mode sunnies that there is.

The 3386 is definitely one of Ray-Bans sophisticated pieces, although it hasn’t lost its youthful element and remains trendy and hip yet some what classy, an aspect that very few other sunglasses are able to achieve.

The 3386 comes in a handful of neutral tones that are subtle yet stylish and suit all fashion tastes and marry together with any outfit perfectly.
