England have just become the world's best cricket team after beating India in Manchester.

Off to a great start in their bid to become the No1 test team by beating Sri Lanka in the Test they'd beaten India twice and were potentially one match away from becoming the world number 1 team.

And they did it.

adidas, official sponsors to the ECB have been behind England all the way, supplying kit to the team that we all hope will take over from India as the world's number one test series team. We can but wait for that outcome.

England won the last test against India by 319 runs after having beaten them earlier in July by 196 runs. With just two tests remaining if England maintain their form it the top spot for them.
