Emmeline Ragot, Bio

Born: 27th May 1986

Home: Angouleme, France

French downhill superstar Emmeline Ragot is a rider of the highest calibre. Emmeline holds the 2009 and 2010 women’s downhill World Champion title, along with holding multiple titles in the French DownHill Championships, so she's familiar with success.

At the age of twelve a family friend invited Emmeline to join the local mountain bike club and she's been riding ever since. Like most young riders in France, she started out by competing in nearby cross country, down hill and trials competitions before dedicating herself solely to downhill mountain biking.

An inconvenient choice considering her home in Bordeaux was hours away from the nearest good downhill tracks. But she was fast and started racing World Cups as soon as she was old enough.

Signed to Adidas's team of athletes, she's held the World DH Champion for two years, making her and Adidas an irresistibly world-class partnership.
