Julien Absalon, Bio

Double Olympic champion Julien Absalon won gold medals at the 2004 Summer Olympics and at the 2008 Summer Olympics. He rides for the Spanish mountain bike team Orbea. Absalon has 17 World Cup wins. Absalon won four consecutive Mountain Bike World Championships in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
Juju as he is known, is the four-time defending world champion in cross-country mountain biking. Absalon also defended his Olympic gold in Athens in the men’s cross country with a gold in Beijing 2008, where he dominated the competition.

Julien loves most outdoors sports including motocross, skiing and snowboarding, but he hates football. And while he does enjoy relaxing with a beer or some wine, he only drinks Diet Coke during the biking season. He loves to pass the miles on the road with techno music.
