Nino Schurter, Bio

Swiss Nino started his career as a pro mountain bike rider purely by accident. He went on holidays with his parents and rode a lot. Then as a way to train for skiing in the summer, he started to mountain bike. At 7 years old he began racing. Nino's interest in mountain bike riding combined his love of the outdoors.
He won a place on the Swiss team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics earning a bronze medal in the men’s cross-country. He won the Mountain Bike World Championships for Cross Country in 2009.
