Tore Brovold, Bio.

Born: 12th June 1970
Home: Hamar, Norway

Eagle-eyed Norwegian Tore Brovold knows how to find the target. His accuracy is legendary, and his trophy cabinet is filled with prestigious honours. Now, all he needs is that elusive Olympic gold and he's won the lot. And you'd have to be brave to bet against him.

Brovold is no stranger to agonising, narrow losses. He pushed Vincent Hancock all the way, taking the American to a shoot-off before being pipped to the gold. Brovold still finished with his head held high and a silver medal. Brovold's no nearly man though, as his World Cup Final, World Cup and European Championship wins attest.

Possibly his most defining moment came at the 2010 ISSF Shotgun World Cup in Acapulco, Mexico. Behind his sunglasses, Brovold kept his cool to score 149 hits plus two targets in a shoot-off. This was enough to edge out Randal McLelland and grab another gold medal. Yet another reason why Brovold is among the best skeet target men around.
