Designer label Gucci have created a masterpiece collection for summer/autumn
2008, which will attract attention of all those who love to compliment
accessories with jewellery. Keeping with the classic, unmistakable ‘GG’ design
famous by Gucci designers they have combined this element from fine jewellery
and watches to sunglasses, the new must have fashion item. The Gucci
2985 and
2984 come
complete in large and medium sized frames in a selection of complimentary
colours with ‘stras’ options complete with diamantes within the ring on the
temple or for those who prefer the understated option a simple engraved design.
Using a vintage frame and implementing the upcoming signature ring design has
brought this frame right into the 21st century and both sizes with or without
encrusted hinges are sure to be a summer must have, with the public and
celebrities alike. Both designs the, 2984 and 2985 with optional n/s variation
have the sought after gradient lens which draws attention down to your smile and
feature the interlocking ‘G’ emblem which has made Gucci one of the biggest
fashion houses it is today. With this design present in its fine jewellery
ranges, these sunglasses will complete any collection and will be a big seller,
a trend not to be missed.
The photo above and below shows the stras version with the diamante. Look for
the frames that do not have NS (no stras) in the model number. It of course puts
the price of the sunglasses up but you will probably agree that the little extra
is worth it.
The 2985 is the non-stras version NS is still a lovely frame and the engraved
GG design is less showy. If you are not so keen on the extra bling or want to
save a few pounds then the NS version is probably for you.

Lily Allen
Lily Allen arrives at Heathrow back from her Christmas holiday.
On first glance it looks as though Lily Allen could be wearing Chanel’s brand new 5143 Black on Red from the Chanel Passepoil Collection. Passepoil means outline, the inspiration behind this stunning juxtaposing collection which hones in on Chanel’s love of lightness and combining colour. The acute angular face redefines cute while the arms are lit up with striped rose red that creates an illusive ray of light and aura around the frame.
British bad girl Lily Allen was spotted holidaying on a luxury yacht on the coast of St Barth with her new silver haired boyfriend.
Reports say that the 23 year olds new beau is 45 year old English art gallery owner Jay Jopling, a friend of Lilly’s Dad.
Lilly previously said in an interview that ‘I think I like much older men. I hang out with much older people, I go for dinners at posh places and talk about art. I’m meeting more interesting people who tax my brain.’
Jay Jopling was previously married to art photographer Sam Taylor-Wood, a friend of Sir Elton John. The couple were known as the art worlds golden couple.
In other news, Lily’s still clearly fuming over Katy Perry’s comment about her weight. The Smile singer wrote on her Facebook page ‘I have Katy Perry’s number, someone did me a favour. I’m just waiting for her to open her mouth one more time then it hits Facebook.’
