A wrapped Tiffany & Co. visor sunglass, the 3003B is a stylish diamante encrusted sunglass from this leading brand.
Tiffany
Founded by Charles Lewis Tiffany and Teddy Young in New York City in 1837 as a "stationery and fancy goods emporium. The store initially sold a wide variety of stationery items, and operated as ‘Tiffany, Young and Ellis’ but changed its name to just ‘Tiffany & Co when Charles Tiffany took complete control of the company. From the start, Tiffany’s massively coveted blue box was a part of the Tiffany store, with Charles Lewis Tiffany stating the boxes only be available to those who bought from the Tiffany store. As reported by The New York Sun, ‘Tiffany has one thing in stock that you cannot buy off him for as much money as you may offer, he will only give it to you. And that is one of his boxes’.
References to Tiffany in film and TV are credit to the brand becoming a household name worldwide. In the 1953 movie Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Marilyn Monroe sings the song "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend", which mentions Tiffany's twice, and perhaps more famously, the iconic film, ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ main character, Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn), constantly refers to the store as "the best place in the world, where nothing bad can take place."
More recently movie stars such as Angelina Jolie , Blake Lively, Jessica Alba and Natalie Portman have rocked the Tiffany rocks, working the classically chic style of Tiffany’s stunning creations into their modern day red carpet ensembles.
Aside their globally iconic range of jewellery, Tiffany boasts a plethora of products that ooze the brand’s premium quality and attention to detail. Tiffany’s new eyewear collection is the ultimate in craftsmanship, using a variety of high quality materials. From understated, classic frames, to oversized and glamorous, the Tiffany Eyewear range boasts versatile appeal, ensuring that they continue to be a ‘girl’s best friend’.
