Having taken inspiration from the contours found on bamboo plants the Tom Ford Simone features a sculpted frame with a small cutaway at either side of the lens.

Then in 2004, Tom resigned from Gucci following a buyout from Pinault Printemps Redoute. Exactly one year after his dramatic departure from Gucci the designer debuted TOM FORD, the brand. Like no other deisgner before him, Tom Ford began with eyewear, producing and distributing optical frames and sunglasses under the TOM FORD brand. TOM FORD is continuously growing and going from strength to strength. The originality of TOM FORD frames are a breath of fresh air and are the source of inspiration for his fellow designers.
