Victoria Beckham Channels Inner Girl

Victoria Beckham has revealed that she “channelled her inner girl" when designing her latest collection.

The star has added to her eponymous dress range by creating a diffusion line – Victoria by Victoria Beckham.

“I wanted to offer designer pieces at a more affordable price and show another side of my personality. The original inspiration was the cartoon character Emily the Strange – from that starting point, I channelled my inner girl,” she told InStyle magazine.

She is often seen wearing her own designs and explained for her the dress is the ultimate fashion item.

“Every woman needs a great dress, one she can rely on day or night. It should flatter from every angle, standing and sitting. And should always make her feel beautiful and confident,” she said.

“[The ultimate dress is] one that’s timeless, considered a fashion investment and that can be worn time and time again.”

Hopefully the designer will also create a Victoria by Victoria Beckham sunglass line as the current range starts from £280 upwards. Though you do get what you pay for – immeasurable quality and the hottest designer styles.
