Born in Essex in 1974, Victoria Adams knew she wanted to be famous at an early age after watching 80s musical flick Fame. At 20 years old, the young and ambitious drama school graduate answered an advertisement in1993 which required girls who were "street smart, extrovert, ambitious and able to sing and dance" she joined the then near unknown girl group, The Spice Girls.
One of the most phenomenally successful bands to come out of the 90s ‘Cool Britannia’ era, The Spice Girls were famous for each band member having a defined personal style, with Victoria being awarded the ‘Posh’ status and her wardrobe consisting of little black dresses, high heels and designer outfits. After the band split, Victoria went her own way focussing on her natural flair and love for fashion and in 2004 Victoria Beckham designed a limited-edition fashion line for denim designer brand, Rock & Republic called VB Rocks. Consisting mainly of embellished jeans with premium materials and fit, the range was a huge success.
